Mr Kakha OKROJANASHVILI

Secretary General of the Parliament of Georgia

Mr Kakha Okrojanashvili has had a distinguished career in policy, security and governance. He began in 1996 at a research institute, later working in foreign policy roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. By 2003, Mr Okrojanashvili shifted to economic development, managing international partnerships. His career expanded across sectors, including Maritime transport, National Security and defense, with leadership positions in National Security Council and State Security and Crisis Management Council. In 2014, Mr Okrojanashvili became Deputy Minister of Defense, and from 2018 to 2024, he focused on intelligence at the State Security Service.

In January 2025, Mr Okrojanashvili was appointed Secretary General of the Parliament of Georgia, where he continues to contribute to the country’s governance and legislative processes.
