Dr. Georg Kleemann was elected Deputy Secretary General of the Bundesrat in March 2015. Besides, he is Secretary of the Legal Affairs Committee and Secretary of the Mediation Committee (joint committee of Bundesrat and Bundestag).Before joining the Bundesrat, Georg Kleemann held different positions in the Federal Chancellery as well as in the CDU/CSU parliamentary group of the German Bundestag and in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Technology. Most recently, he served as Head of the Federal Chancellery’s Directorate for Cabinet, Parliament and Federation-Laender Matters.
Joined the ASGP in April 2015.
